JRE Soft Launches New Aladino Maduro
Source: Halfwheel
Over the past few weeks, select shops have begun receiving a new cigar from JRE Tobacco Co., the Aladino Maduro.
The blend has been in the works for a while and the company even considered launching at this summer’s IPCPR Convention & Trade Show. However, it wasn’t there and it is even at most shops. As for the blend it uses a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over a Honduran corojo binder and Honduran fillers that are grown on the company’s farms in Honduras.
There will be at least four sizes, with the potential for a gordo offering.
- Aladino Maduro Elegante (7 x 38) — $7.75
- Aladino Maduro Cazador (6 x 46) — $9
- Aladino Maduro Robusto (5 x 50) — $10.50
- Aladino Maduro Toro (6 x 50) — $11.50
Pricing is not finalized and the numbers above represent the higher of the estimated price range.
Despite the darker wrapper, Justo Eiroa, president of JRE, told halfwheel the cigars are medium-bodied, like the rest of the company’s lines.
