Two New Tremendous Sizes From JRE

Retailers will have to make some extra room on their shelves this week for two new huge cigars. JRE Tobacco Co. is shipping the giant Rancho Luna Grandes, a thicker offshoot of the original Rancho Luna line. The Grandes come in two sizes—the big 7 x 64 ($7.20) and the gargantuan 7 x 70 ($7.80). The girthy smokes debuted at the Tobacco Plus Expo trade show in Las Vegas last week and are now on their way to tobacconists.
Made in Honduras at the Fabrica de Puros Aladino S.A. factory, the Grandes are loaded with only Honduran tobacco grown on the Eiroa family farms in the Jamastran valley.
The Rancho Luna brand originally came out in 2015 (then distributed by C.L.E. Cigar Company), but the blend for the giant Grandes line is slightly different. While the original series is made with a combination of Habano and Corojo tobacco, these Grandes are rolled in only Corojo. The band design is different as well.
Both colossal sizes come in packaged in 20-count boxes.
JRE Tobacco is a family-owned company founded by industry veteran Julio R. Eiroa and his son, Justo in 2016.
